Providing Aid & Comfort to Department Personnel

The Peer Support Team is part of the Fire Department’s comprehensive response to critical incidents. Firefighters are trained as peer counselors and work in conjunction with the department psychologist. Team members respond to critical incidents at the request of supervisory personnel. 

The Peer Support Team is also available to provide support and resources to firefighters in other times of need. 

The Peer Support Team is led by Adjustment Committee member Phil Chapin.
