For over 65 years, firefighters, including those from Pueblo Local 3, have proudly supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) through the "Fill the Boot" campaign. This tradition helps fund critical research for new treatments, supports MDA Care Centers, and provides life-changing summer camp experiences for kids with muscular dystrophy. With the IAFF’s continued support, including Pueblo Local 3, MDA has seen promising advancements, such as the approval of new drugs for neuromuscular diseases. Pueblo Local 3 remains committed to filling those boots until a cure is found, making a difference in the lives of families affected by muscular dystrophy in our community and beyond.
